Our Mission
Our world is rich with history. Wherever you go, someone has walked before you; someone has dreamed, invented, loved, cried. Relic is committed to bringing the voices of the past to life and connecting them with the places you visit.
Connect with the past at any given location: discover which historical figures walked the same path as you and how your shared surroundings might have inspired them.
Our unique approach combines accessible storytelling and immersive visuals to transport you back in time while ensuring a meaningful connection between past and present.

What to Experience
Historical Figures
Author Mary Shelley lived in England and Italy, but came up with the idea for Frankenstein in Switzerland as a challenge. Frida Kahlo lived in Mexico City for most of her life, though she created some harrowing paintings while living in the United States after several premature pregnancies. Relic allows you to follow in their footsteps.
Storytelling
Which figures of the past might have frequented or lived at a specific location? What pieces of art did the place inspire? What was it like to live there in the past? All of this can be discovered with Relic.
Immersive Visuals
To properly immerse yourself in the lives of historical figures, the app features photographs and paintings of them, their loved ones, their accommodation, and the surroundings as they might have looked during the given time period.
